So as I wrote in my last post, Marquis Andras has been reaching out to me a lot lately. I was going to call him on Monday but things at home had other plans for me. So I asked Marquis Andras if I could call on him today and he said yes so today I evoked the Great Marquis.
I did everyhting accoridng to how I currently practice my ceremonial evocations, but I must admit I was a bit scared since the Marquis has a bit of a badd reputation.
So I start doing the enn chant, and fireworks start going off outside (politcal campaign season at home) so that spooked me a little.
I welcome Marquis Andras to my temple and immediately offer him a libation of rum, which he seemedd to enjoy. After welcoming him he told me to put my pendulum down and listen.
The first thinng he said to me was ¨I want to start by saying that fear is an obbstacle to be defeated....today you have shown me thtat you can keep your word. Today you have conquered your fear.¨
´Í have come to offer you my friendship, and that is something that should not be taken lightly, for I do not offer my frienship to many´´. ´´however I must say that I have a bit of a selfish reason for calling you´´.
So he then continues to tell me that I have something in my possession that he wants. He gave me his terms of what I would get out of it if I were to give him what he wants of me.
I of course asked many questions. Then he gave me a lesson ´´you have to learn to negotiate, think about it YOU bought IT but here I am wanting it´´. He has a great point I never thought of it like that. Then I got ideas in my head of setting boundaries and being more assertive.
I told him that I will take some time to think about his offer and that I will let him know my answer soon.
All in all it was a good meeting, and I must admit I was not thinking that I would be getting a lesson about negotiations today, I look forward to meeting Marquis Andras soon!
