I will be keeping my posts related to the Maergzjirah current in this thread. It will largely mirror my blog, but not exactly. I have a general understanding of a fair amount of the people on this forum and will tailor the entries to that. I don't have that with my blog, so additional explanation may be added there.

I'm basing my exploration with...source materials...that aren't too hard to find on the Internet. The books are out of print and way overpriced for what they are.

There are a lot of controversies surround the current, but most of these involve the people and that's how I will be viewing it. I will not join the Cabal, but am aware of at least one off-shoot organization that is acting similarly. I am not privy to their social dynamics or internal teachings, but have established contact with them.

This is not a thread for blatant bashing, shit stirring, or similar behavior about the organization associated with the current. I promise there will be plenty of sarcasm, maybe some occasional wit, and a healthy dose of disdain for the edgy Uber Dark Lord theme running through the books. It's right up there with other books by a known publisher specializing in the same.

But there are some nuggets of truth in it and I also plan on writing out some of the steps I feel are missing that could bridge the fantasy-laden material and an actually useful ritual.

I've had an interest in the current of Maergzjirah for quite some time. Usually, the excessive drama produced by the "official" religious arm of it, called the Cabal, has been enough to put off genuine study of it. For those not in the know, there's an excessive amount of it that seems to resurface every few years. No thanks. Trailer park drama can stay there, as far as I'm concerned.

But I've heard the call or at least couldn't ignore the nudges that way. I have read some of their materials in the past and wasn't impressed. I'm still not and am within the last few pages of the Black Scriptures (again). Frankly, I think a lot of it is a sort of competition with Lovecraft for scene setting, desperate edgy desire for achievement, and the actual substance that's worth something.

And yet I'm delving into it in the next 30 days, if I can hold off that long.

I do know why, in some sense. I alternate between lighter and darker currents naturally as a way to maintain mental stability with the workload I put myself under magically. It's also an effective way to ward off some of the more negative repercussions of darker practices heavily involved with Death, Destruction, and Decay energies when you start wielding larger amounts of them than a simply little emo-fueled ritual with your pinch of poisonous herbs you're trying to keep your tears from ruining.

While I'm not a fan of how preachy Josephine McCarthy is, she is right that there are tangible effects on the body one substantial amounts of energies are channeled and used in ritual. Flip-flopping between current and a daily hygiene regime substantially help. So does not directly bringing in more of the energies through you when you've met your limit, but that's a different topic.

That's not to say I check out of my previous currents and work. I still very much work with those energies and entities when appropriate and for growth moments. Starting in the Maergzjirah current will be another growth opportunity and I have some ideal of how it will start.

Because I've been seeing either those entities or their emissaries more frequently since deciding to. The most flagrant was today, when I saw one of them walking towards me from about 15 feet away behind a mesh outdoor curtain. THIS was why I said "if I can hold off that long". I missed the New Moon yesterday and even if I hadn't, my tools weren't properly readied.

I've "known" which two towers or at least feel I do. I've been feeling pushed towards them. One makes sense, the other doesn't. I've worked with the Shadownomicon before, so darker entities and similar aren't something I'm unused to. There's a cold, dark comfort I find in shadows, even if there's fear. I'll keep you abreast. I believe this is my primary Tower, from what I can discern. To be clear, I am NOT approaching this like I have experience with this Shadow current. That feels like a foolish thing to do and my risks are typically the calculated sort, not foolish sort.

The other is that of Pain. Which makes sense in both literal and ironic ways. For the most physical tower (by description), it's ironic that one with a broken body (from Iraq) would be called, but there are other areas I know I will get into. I am known for pursuing Justice and Vengeance, both by my character and by the "charge" of those I work with in areas they care about.

Again, I will be approaching this as a newcomer for the most part. The spirits will tell me what's most important and given the increasingly obvious signs, I suspect that this behavior will continue and/or increase as things progress.

I know I must work with the Maergzjirah current, but missed the timeframe to start on the New Moon (yesterday). The tool ritual water isn’t ready, which means the tools aren’t ready. Which means the ritual can’t be done. (Well, it can, but we’re trying to behave here).

I find the tool naming a bit silly with the amount of rituals I’ve done over the years in different paradigms. But do understand why others may need it. It IS a way of creating a focused construct that can assist and amplify its use over time. Instead of a passive collection system, like an area crystal soaking up excessive or extra environmental energy from ritual, it’s an active version that makes it much more profound in the same timeframe.

I will use my existing baking stone as an altar (as I already use it to do my rituals on it now), but am torn between a mace or an athame. I have a piece of Pearl Harbor driftwood that I collected that looks like a mace. I plan on using sterile lancets for blood draws (“finger painting” as I call it). The athame is more for effect at that point. I don’t need it for spirit control. I have several suitable knives & small swords. Undetermined.

Black Scriptures page 44 – “should you need to put down an unwanted visitor; in the flesh or in spirit“. THIS is the type of edgy Dark Lord style that obscures the real message. Nonsense and this was likely written from the comfort of an internet cafe or safe apartment. /rant But speaking of Dark Lords…

My chalice will be the Death Eater goblet I got from the Harry Potter exhibit in Philadelphia a few years ago. While I have used it, I started with the Demonolatry world and was doing partial possessions from a few months after being called/kicked in the ass by Hecate to get in gear. They taste it through me. Or it is poured into glass containers for those I don’t let in. But, a chalice is called for, so a chalice will be used. It’s reasonable.

The Circle of Arallah on page 44 looks interesting. Rereading to figure out where everything is supposed to go. I remember having some confusing in the latter 130+ pages when a spirit is in a spot I thought the altar was in.

The 9’x9′ circle is doable in the area I’ve chosen. They say it’s supposed to be made of flour, silver, or iron dust. But I’m going to go a bit theatrical here and do it in chalk. It’s partly practical. There’s a WICKED wind that flows through this area daily.

That can certainly be one sign an author is simply going for the vibe of Medieval grimoires without having much actual experience in electional astrology. Anyone who has practiced electional astrology for a while knows that often you have to make compromises! (And if you're trying to follow everything listed in Medieval electional astrology texts, you need to make compromises, because it's impossible to follow everything laid out. Literally. It's not meant to be followed in its entirety, they lay out the ideal conditions that should be followed as closely as possible but expect compromises) There's plenty of other factors relating to beginnings, such as the Ascendant in early degrees of Signs, the change of the seasons or the season Spring in specific, etc. But the cycle of the Moon is an especially easy one to follow so I get authors wanting to include something and going for that as something easily followed by most folk.

Also, bonus points if by "New Moon" the author meant "when the Moon is first visible after the conjunction with the Sun" instead of "when the Moon is exactly conjunct the Sun", since in the "West" (which seems relevant to Lovecraft's works although I'm not that familiar with them) the latter has only been called the New Moon in modern times!

Posting an aside here of sorts. The tome the Eye of the Oracle is most applicable to my current skillset, but with a bunch of fantasy thrown in and without the skills of actually accessing energy from elsewhere. That last part is CRUCIAL to offsetting all sorts of issues both mentally and physically. Let me take you down memory land....

When I was 13, I swore I would "push the edge of the envelope", both positive and negative. At the time, I was thinking of emotions, since I intuitively understood that "truth" was somewhere in between. But it couldn't be really understood without having sufficient experience. With no household internet, no Youtube even remotely possible, cell phones the size of shoe boxes, and coming from a kid living in small town Indiana (and surrounding communities, depending on whether rent was paid or not), this wasn't something I was conditioned to with my strict Mormon upbringing.

Yet, that understood necessity (for me) still plays out as I enter my late 40's. Best I can say is that it was something I was....driven towards... I don't like the term "destiny" as I don't feel it is EVER accurate in a meaningful way. I died several times as a pre-teen and I was given a choice - return or not. It was a legitimate choice that I can still tell. This meant a shift. I've been a part of other shifts, but they are rare and genuine fulcrums, not simply off-hand decisions in my life.

But, let's tie this in. That envelope remark was prophetic in ways I couldn't imagine when "understanding" it. I didn't, either, yet it defines my Occult path. Energies, not necessarily actions in some cases. I will delve in both directions, but that doesn't mean I'm looking to defile a burial or punish all the pretend sinners because one current said so.

I had a friend whose name many here would recognize ask me why I was going after this current. I gave plenty of reasons, legit reasons, especially longer-term that wouldn't likely be associated with this current. The Maergzjirah current is largely full of try-hard posturing (the Cabal organization - I've spoken against in the past) with echo chamber reinforcement for both abilities and possibilities.

But there is power in the current. I'm very aware of the schisms and this has led to some questioning the current in certain areas. This is exactly the sort of thing I want to know. I am NOT part of the social aspects. I am not part of their indoctrination. I do not have the echo chamber.

I cannot know if the Cabal Gate claims by Slayden Sorcery are entirely true, but I suspect, heavily, that they are not entirely false. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 3 videos still remain up. I went looking to rewatch the third not long ago. Shame it was taken down.

But, that envelope. Become a Living G_o_d's edgy high schooler 101 material isn't enough. Their initial necromancy books were a waste of money, so one has to look elsewhere. This is where I'm looking.

And plan on working through to separate the nonsense from that of actual value. Would've done that for the group above, but too much was nonsense dressed in Black Magic Dipshitery the last I paid for it. I already know to expect that with the Cabal and the materials are available - the pretend author stole it, which is why it's not up for sale anymore.

The...history...is that this was started in pre-1500. Nonsense with the vocabulary. There is the entire Cabal Gate trilogy offered by the Slayden Sorcery channel, but only 2 of the 3 remain. I've emailed to try to get the 3rd reuploaded.

This current doesn't care about astrology, generally speaking. New Moon and Full Moon are good enough, which is better than what I largely care about. If those events can't be overcome by the magician, then best not cast.

BUT

I do try to follow the path's preference when starting them. I did it for Helios Unbound, where it does matter more (the magician is largely incompetent in the energies and remains such).

Here, it's an emotional thing. And their literature later on encourages this emotional motif. The preferred energy from the half-way-through-accomplished-magicians - HATRED. Not kidding. I'm getting ready to go to bed, but it's the preferred emotion for fuel in the majority of the Eye of the Oracle tome.

Been speaking against this for years. But that only works when magicians actually feel and understand their craft objectively....

I personally disagree that they can be overcome. Although, I want to stress that that's simply a disagreement - it's always good to talk about different views!

I disagree because I see astrology, or the hidden spiritual influence that astrology points to, as very wide-ranging. Like the vivid image in Corpus Hermeticum Book XVI where the daimons of the Stars are within our blood, our bones, our marrow, I believe that the influences of Heaven directs all of our emotions, passions, and therefore actions. And so I see it as something difficult to become entirely free of! Although, some of the Platonists did intense rituals over a long period of time to try and become more free to an extent.

However, traditionally (and I think this is something many today don't understand) timing does not usually make or break a working. Similar to tools or the environment, it's something that always either adds power to the working or hinders it. A very potent ritual done under bad timing will have a strong effect and be successful, and the bad timing will only take away some of its power; good timing simply makes it more powerful. Similarly, a weak ritual done under good timing will be helped somewhat, but it may not be enough to have the ritual make much of a change!
It's the same outside of magic - a good astrological election often won't make a failing business venture profitable, nor would a good election usually cause a genetically bad plant to grow like a shining example of health!

Medieval grimoires tend to make use of a mixture of energy work, tools, and timing, incorporating all this together.
Even in Ancient Roman ritual, general prayer is preceeded with some light energy work, and the ritual itself incorporates gestures and tools (in this case, simply a head covering and often times a fire if at home or a temple). On the state level, priests throughout the Mediterranean also incorporated timing, and it was mandatory for them to do more intense energy work.
Medieval magicians, from the grimoires I've seen, generally did very heavy energy work before rituals, used tools as strong as they could obtain, and the level of the timing they incorporated into their rituals depended on their ability to obtain astrological elections. Their aim was to make the ritual as powerful as possible! Anything that could be of help to the efficacy of the ritual was generally incorporated to the best of their ability.

Maergzjirah is a devotional path, which would seem at odds with some of the wording. The term "Apotheosis" is tossed around like candy and can be considered the goal of each practitioner - regardless of Tower (path).

In the Infernal Academia entries, you'll find a lot of messaging that ISN'T directly tied to the original Maergzjirah work due to the US founder's obsession with the Devil's Quran. I'm 40 pages in and I think I'm beginning to understand why there was an appeal. First 30 page? No, it's a simplistic anti-Islam text. But some of the wording between those pages are where I think the association was made.

This is not a review or advocation for the Devil's Quran. I'm not impressed so far, around 50% of the book, but I can see where the associations were made. It's simplistic and unenlightening at the 40 page mark. It shows no understanding of competing paradigms from places like China or India, which give Western Occultism more than a run for its money - especially in legitimacy.

The iron crowns is where the association was made. Cernobog, the self-declared Lord, First Among Equals, wears an iron crown. And an iron crown is bestowed upon the "true believer" or similar in the DQ upon death. There is talk of also being bestowed a Citadel in a mountain to rule over, which draws parallels to the lore of the Maergzjirah in that there is a dark city where things are ruled from (not the right words, but they aren't coming and are largely pedantic).

So, the US founder, potentially the ONLY founder, of the Maergzjirah found a few generic cross-references that supported his world view and brought the wording into the Cabal cult. Where it became part of the Maergzjirah "culture" even after the fracturing of the original US Cabal members.

And why do I keep saying US cabal/founder/members? Because there's no proof it exists outside of the author of the Black Scriptures. And since I have years of evocation experience with a wide variety of entities, I'm quite interested in the feeling and nuances of these entities. The claim is that they are very different than Goetics and similar. I'm looking forward to experiencing them - as they are, within the current they embody.

While the Maergzjirah current takes a lot of imagery, their methods take a blending of words of "power", visualization, direction, and typically emotion to serve their lower-level impulses and desires. It's a pity. Can't say I've seen any text or published material where they rise above this. Unnecessary Emotion as fuel is like Ramen. Functional, but dressing it up with herbs and whatnot will not increase it's character.

There are unmentioned "knowings" where experience takes hold. But with the Maergzjiran published works are concerned, the unspoken necessity IS a contact with the current being tapped. No amount of Earth-based herbs, powders, etc...crutch trinkets...will see the potential result.

I didn't intend to do the ritual last night. That shouldn't be happening for weeks still. I was simply going to work on my altar. I decided to not use my general baking stone I use for most altars. I had a several year old piece of Red Oak that I cut to 13 inches. One inch for each of the Blighted Lords and Ladies. Seemed like some nice dramatic flair, even if I'm on the fence about my opinions on them at this point.

Cernobog gave the impression that each side needed to be roughed and all the sharp edges blunted. This was a factory smoothed piece of wood and I figured he wanted me to make it my own. So, I dug through my boxes of things, found the belt sander with 80 grit sandpaper on it, and roughed up every edge, side, and angle. There wasn't a single spot on the board that hadn't been roughed.

Then I was told to smooth it back out.

As I turned on some paranormal story videos for shigs, I bent to the task. Hand tools only. Files and sandpaper. It took hours to smooth the sides and front face and likely couldn't have been done on my typical weeknight. But I got to it around noon, which left time to sun dry the board after wetting it.

As I got within the last 30 minutes of having the front face ready, I was told to leave the back side of it scuffed up. It was a reminder and I had already figured out what he meant.

The purpose of this was to remind me that this process mimics the path of the magician. Things have to get roughed up a bit sometimes to bring out the new potential in the object/magician. There is a polishing process used to further refine the individual and let the inner potential out. The rough edges are blunted, if not smoothed completely. Documenting it by photo, blog, grimoire, etc... is the reminder of how far the person had come from the start.

Ritual performed on 31AUG25. Recorded entry 01SEP.

I hadn't intended to perform the Dedication ritual last night. That should've been several weeks away, but Cernobog called and said it was time.

About dinner time, I was called to prep for ritual. I was pissed and unprepared. Took hours to prep. The moon water wasn't ready, tools not anointed or dedicated. I called on Hecate and asked her to create the moon water for me.

I became really pissed off when my goblet, the Death Eater goblet from the Philadelphia Harry Potter exhibit fell and broke in two right before I was going to start ritual. Stem snapped in two. I was pissed off enough that I skipped the naming process for the altar and didn't bother with the athame. I didn't consecrate the altar as written, but it was already dedicated from the work and intent done earlier. It did get some of the water, blood, and ritual chalk on it. Good enough for now.

I didn't have time to copy over the wording properly, so I read it from my device. The dedication was offered and accepted.

Once that was done, I did get back into the circle and request to know which Patron I should call upon. I was told Umbra mainly and a little of Pain. I nodded and then closed the ritual.

While I had recorded both the moon water and subsequent dedication ritual, I unwittingly wore a shirt that reflected heavily in the blacklights and the significant amounts of sweat from rushing to prep were too obvious. I will include pictures from the ritual, though. Water is pink because it is mixed with blood for the ritual water.

Later today, I will call upon Nykarleth, Lady of the Tower of Umbra and formally ask for acceptance into the Tower. Once I had realized this, I thought I should also do this with the Tower of Pain's Lord, but was told this was more of a distant thing and more of a heavily working with at some point in time not too close. While writing down the ritual for calling to them, I was given a magical name by Nykarleth for use with this current. I did do some Google queries for it, but had no hits with it or Duck Duck Go.

Cernobog said that I should also ask admittance into his Tower, the Tower of the Iron Throne. He didn't elaborate at that time.

As I stated in my Dedication entry, having my Maergzjiran name, I did the Calling of Infernal Spirits ritual around 1500 on 01SEP25. It is daylight and overcast. But there are always shadows whenever light is present, no?

I first asked Lady Nykarleth for formal admittance into the Tower of Umbra and was then shown a spirit to start with. I had specifically asked that the starting spirits be similar in signature to their descriptions to ease any mistrust I would likely have. I recognized this spirit immediately. I was then told to create a linking item to facilitate his coming and going, as well as accessing the energy of that Tower.

I contemplated whether or not I should do a separate ritual for the Tower of the Iron Throne, but Cernobog said to go ahead.

I then formally asked for admittance into the Tower of the Iron Throne. I was shown another initial entity to call upon. Since I thought I was going into the Tower of Pain, I was absolutely unfamiliar with who this was.

Both marked me in different places. Nykarleth’s was subtle. Cernobog sort of…left a mark…visually visceral, but obviously painless.

He then said I could use the same stone.

I started hunting for my raw obsidian I have, some of which are much larger than an inch. I let her select which piece. I then tried to find a suitably sharp edge and ran it roughly over the back of my hand. A few small droplets appeared, but I wasn’t pleased with that, yet didn’t want to break the stone just to chip off a sharper edge needed once. I ran it over the same spot again.

Nykarleth: “That (is/was) enough”. She was referring to the little droplets from the first go around.

I moved to the middle of the circle, knelt, and held it against the ground. Both blew into it to create the connection to their Towers. I was told it would strengthen over time and with use. Later, I realized this would also ease the admission of their energies into my space/life.

I closed the ritual after thanking them for coming. I then looked up the two entities in the Tome of Discipleship and believe I have found my mystery Lady. Guess we’ll see.

I do want to state that so far, these entities have seemed to be substantial, not just flimsy, single use creations made for simple fantasy. I have experience with Become a Living God’s Kingdoms of Fire and felt it was a mix. Some I got results from. Some I didn’t. Some felt substantial, some didn’t. Could’ve been me or my perceptions that day, but there aren’t many I would immediately turn to. But there were a few.

I plan on making the same observations here and being as honest as I can be about my experiences and perceptions of these entities.

Maergzjirah – Post Calling of Infernal Spirits – Pre Transfiguration – Adead – Maraezhna

Isn’t that title a mouthful? I’ve been told to wait to do the “Transfiguration of the Black Soul”. This isn’t the same thing as the Blood Pact, which I’ve still not been told to do (an am fine with that). Actually, I was explicitly told not to (until told to) and this was by Hecate. I have a tendency to listen when she gives a firm “request” that I can tell is in my best interest. She didn’t elaborate why and I didn’t ask. Yet, I was told to obtain some Holy Water, which is a component of the ritual. I’m not going to steal it from a church, as that’s a bit juvenile at my age and maturity level.

Moving on, I called the two spirits I was shown from my Calling of Infernal Spirits ritual.

I went back through the Black Scriptures (published by Somnus Dreadwood) and got the sort of recipe of Tower, then Plane, then Lord/Lady of the Tower. These are sigils/symbols, maybe glyphs depending on your point of view and irrelevant semantics. I stacked them and called the Lord/Lady of the Tower.

Aside – I believe this could be enhanced by opening the other sigils one at a time, but this isn’t strictly necessary. Did it work? Yes, it did. But I’m an experience evocationalist, already knew their signatures from them introducing themselves, and didn’t need the other parts. I am NOT saying they couldn’t be useful, but we’re getting into my typical work and not the given process…

I called Nykarleth first, after debating and feeling my connection/direction to her the strongest. I put the stack of 3 sigils into the center of a triangle of 3 candles, as directed, before calling and didn’t forcefully call her.

Me: “Nykarleth, Nykarleth, Nykarleth. I call to you. (I knew she was already present/aware). Please call Adead for me and bring him here.” This happened instantly.

Adead: “You finally called.”
M: “I did.”

A: “‘Face of Death’ (a quote from his paragraph) and how to call them… Do you not know how to already?” (He turned to leave and started to, but was turned back)

A: “Fine. What do you wish to know?”

M: “If I already know of so many or ‘almost all’ (his impressions to me), why were you the first I was to call? (from the Tower of Umbra (Shadow)). There was a smile for a second.

A: “Because you know less than you think you do. Tell me, what are ‘Faces of Death’?”

M: “Aspects (‘Opportunities came to mind – externally)”

A: “Yes, opportunities. What else? Maybe….convincing others it is time? Nudging them towards that? (Willing or not). Are YOU to decide who lives and who dies? If not, why not? Are we all not animals – waiting to become so again?” (He turned to leave and was sent back again)

A: “Oh and the Cheating Death thing. You don’t really care about that or think you don’t, but feeling it for others is a good start. Study it. Detect it. Start recreating it.”

M: “Yes, my Lord. Thank you.”

I thanked him and Nykarleth. They left.

Cernobog: “Mine will not be that easy.”

Me: “Cernobog, Cernobog, Cernobog. I ask you to call Maraezhna…”

C: “First you will speak to me.” (I nodded)

Maraezhna: “You couldn’t even spell my name right…”

C: “Iron Throne. Iron Fist. I will not let you slack off and waste my time. (I nodded). Genuine recovery is different. (This was said firmly but fairly)”

Maraezhna stepped forward.

M: “I will whip you into shape. You seem distracted. (I was wiping bugs off of me attracted by the candles)”

M: “You’re distracted now. (She meant at work, too). Bad news, sure, but spend more time/energy tilting it to your favor. Pressure, influence, magical and mundane. Take charge – even if you’re not (in charge). Do it. That is all.”

I thanked them and they left.

Bad news – both was and wasn’t. I already knew that and had pivoted to making it work for me, but it was nice to hear. This wasn’t confirmation bias or a feel good session. She had assessed what I had done and pointed out holes I should fill – mostly with magical, plenty of “aural” work where I influence my larger environment. That sort of work is a bit different than results-based magic, as I’m influencing people/situations subtly across several sites. She’s challenging me to increase my attempts and skills to reach like that and do so consistently, and across various groups that think differently and have widely varying experiences.

While this ritual happened yesterday, I started putting it into effect today. Think of it as a combination of charging both an aura others will accept, charging an environment (or several) to have influence there, and doing so in a way that doesn’t drain you (having not called on spirits to help do so).

Dankquan Yes, I'm a godfather to one of my nieces. I wouldn't feel right about stealing from those who believe in it and need it. I did buy some online, actually, and had it shipped.

This current had an influx of material imported from the Devil's Quran. I'm about 40 pages in. It's the typical Light vs Dark inverse that the founder of the current Cabal took inspiration from. The wording reminds me of something @Uncle-Al would write or consume, but it isn't bad.

The ritual ended up as a nothing-burger if one has emotional stability and/or an existing experience in the "adversary spirit" area. The wording itself is lackluster. Honestly nonsense, but not nonsensical.

Oh, let the Dark Powers comes down and absorb me... Well, to someone with existing skills that have involved some rather dark paths, this means little. As is, unless one is seeking an emotional experience, it can be seen as salad dressing and leaves the average person wondering not just if the 'ritual' was successful and potentially whether it was eventful from then on.

As I pulled the darkness down from above, spun by the essence of Belnara, I felt a slightly different form of "darkness", but one still completely recognizable and familiar. I pulled it in and let it flow, trying to experience the shift the ritual text says should happen. But having known a similar darkness, it was less "shocking". Already having the "adversarial spirit" will also lessen the experience. I've spent enough time in it to know where my limits are and what I'm comfortable with and what I'm not. Doesn't mean those boundaries can't be pushed or deepened, but I'm pretty aware of them. And those aren't static things.

I let the energies flow and meld until the time felt "done", completed.

At this point, it will be about the experiences with the spirits. While there are some published "milestones" for other Towers, there don't seem to be for the Towers of Umbra and the Iron Throne. But I've not been completely idle and have been working towards gaining skills, attunements for those towers. But those are for different posts.

Arrived today ( public holiday where I am) and I'm part way through it. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot, because I'm having difficulty - not being a Muslim. I guess that's why - deep down - I'm a Satanist. That stated, I've come across a few interesting titbits - like, "Lo, the giving of gifts makes for no enemies." The Secrets v.55.

It's an inverse of some of the teachings of the Quran. Which is exactly what Satanist material did back in the day.

Satanists largely have little to stand on without being an adversary to....something....anything...everything...depending on the person.

For what it's worth, I've been looking for my copy for the past few weeks and I can't find it. I've moved recently and have read it since i was here, so this is a bit suspect. I don't like that I haven't finished reading and contemplating it.
