I'm thinking about making an incantation bowl to counter act negative planetary influences.

No, in reality I'm thinking about making multiple bowls dedicated to counter act planetary influences, like, all of them but I feel like I would make my space unable for planetary magic, that's not cool.

Like, what if I have a bowl to banish the negative influence of Pluto but I need to work with the destructive side of Pluto for a baneful magical device?

Wait, Is there a way to deactivate incantantion bowls?

La_Su I'd recommend just asking the Planets to be benevolent and propitious to you! Plus, it helps builds a relationship with Them, which is always great.

Has it? There are ways and you may not need to alter it. I would move it out of the ritual and living space, do your ritual, and then wait a bit before reintroducing to your spaces.

Cleansing it will partly depend on how it was done.

Thats a good idea 💡 Or perhaps what I need is to have separate spaces, one meant for planetary magic and the other protected from planetary influences.

La_Su If you have the room for separate spaces. it doesn't hurt. I keep some of my longer curses (21 day curses) away from most of my altar space, but in the same room. It would feel inappropriate to, say, let it brew and fester right next to my Hecate statue or beside my Guan Yin statue. different things.

I do have a tendency to keep a working space and bring my tools to that, rather than have several space to do rituals with specific energies, but you may consider carving a specific space out if you're going to work heavily with a specific energy type for a period of time. Really depends on your space and your appetite for maintaining that as such.

Short term, I would just move some of the items away for a bit. Easier, simpler, and unless it's part of an agreement/pact, it shouldn't be a big issue. Just my opinion.

La_Su You can simply call upon Them! You could simply light a candle and You could say something like:
"Hail to You, Mars, mighty red Star! I thank you for all that You have blessed me with, and all that You will bless me with in the future.

Oh, Mars, You are great, of immense might and strength, the governor of all conflicts in this world, of perfect courage, and You arrive swiftly to the aid of the weak!

Oh, Mars, I ask that You be benevolent and propitious to me!"

And then you could conclude with a simple "Thank You, Mars, I give this [thing] as a gift to You!", and then give your gift. They are not difficult to approach! No sigils needed. I recommend doing it in an Hour or Day that They rule! It's a great practice to do regularly. You could also say the Orphic Hymn of the Planet (Technically not quite of the Planet, but later on many Romans and Greeks saw the Planets as being pretty much the same as the God who They share a name with, although among Platonists those Gods also go beyond the Celestial World entirely, and so rather They have the Planets) at the middle of the prayer or such if you like.

Ok, so this is a compilation of all the things that I learned during my NewAge/Witchtok era about "the basics" and the things that you should do and know as a beginner.

And I know I'm not a fan of the NewAge&Co but honestly, I wasn't that wrong.

This is what I wrote:

Order of importance:
1 = Most important and urgent
2 = Important
3 = Important but not as important as number 2
4 = Important but not as important as number 3 and 2

1 - Protection and Defense:
Because there's NO way for me to meditate and connect with the universe if I have 13 parasites attacking me
1 - Purification and Healing:
Some people say purification and meditation are the same, but for my own good I'm going to separate them

2 - Meditation:
Helps to center the mind, body and spirit... I mean how can I continue if I don't know what I want, how to ground, how to process toxic things and meditation has changed my life with so little, I'm so grateful

3 - Investigation

3 - Energy manipulation
3 - Development of physchic senses:
You can say that the development of physchic senses and energy manipulation and divination are one in the same... No, I don't think that works for me. I have to see them in different steps, helps me organize my thoughts

4 - Manipulation of reality (destruction, creation or whatever thing):
I mean, once you know how to move energy, how to divinate the outcome of the practice and the vibes around it AND you have the clairs to identify whatever thing is going on and have investigated enough about the subject you can start manipulating reality, people, etc.

4 - External contact (entities, deities, etc):
Yeah, how can you contact a Deity, entity, demon, angel if you can't percieve and can't communicate with them, that's why I put Psychic senses as 3 and External contact as 4

And I organized this in this particular way because it makes sense for me to identify information and think: Oh, this magician is talking about contacting this spirit and thats a 4 and I cant go directly to 4 if I haven't completed 3 (3 = psychic senses, divination, investigation).

I feel like it's quite logical and safe to organise information in the way that I did. You can communicate with spirits if can't sense them or use a divinatory method to communicate, duh.

Well, I'm glad I wasn't that lost during that time of my life.

I'd personally disagree with this. It's perfectly fine to speak with the Gods and Angels (I don't really have experience with demons) if one can't hear Them. In the pre-modern Mediterranean, for example, the majority of society certainly could not hear the Gods audibly, but the Gods were involved in every aspect of their lives. So, I'd say it's perfectly fine to speak with the Gods even if you can't hear Them. I'd also personally place cultivating a relationship the Gods (Or, your spiritual allies, if we use that term) as 1 in importance.

Beyond this, however, there are also other ways that the Gods communicate with mortals - such as through omens and dreams, like in 'The Illiad' where Hektor and his men go to fight the Achaians at their ships, but before they proceeded to the attack an eagle was flying overhead with a serpent in its claws that bit the eagle, and so it was dropped, and one of the Trojans interpreted this as a warning to not proceed.
But, in normal every day practice, there likely won't always be communication.

Ok, I'm thinking about using a "lynx wheel" (not really , but something similar) to draw down the energy of the eclipse because it's perfect to cause separations, breakups and fights.

I still don't know how I'm going to do that, but I have to, this the last eclipse in the Aries-Libra axis.
